Germantown Academy Crew Team Makes History

Rattle those cowbells and toot those horns!

For the FIRST TIME in Philadelphia Scholastic Rowing Assocation (PSRA) history, one school has won both the Men’s Varsity Single and Women’s Varsity Single at City Championships.

Congratulations to seniors Jess Zettlemoyer and Zach Burkhart!

Zach defeated 19 other boats to win his morning head race and went on to win the afternoon final with a time of 05:44.52

Jess dominated eight other boats in her morning race, and was victorious in the afternoon final with a time of 06:19.74.
