In a widely-spaced field in the first flight of the novice quad, a GFS foursome (Henry Ziegler [stroke], Bix Komita-Moussa, Wiley Corlett, Seve Reitano) was able to capture third place with a time of 8:08.34 as three of the original six entries either dropped out or were disqualified. GA placed third in the second section as Derek Walkush (stroke), Andy Huang, Max Donches, and Pedro Sobral finished up in 6:02.54, while fifth place in the same flight went to Penn Charter’s Nick Djerassi (stroke), Cole Frieman, Ryan Milkman, and Reid Kleinman in 6:13.95.

GA’s time in the JV double was not as fast as those in the first flight, but Patriots Nick Moeller (stroke) and Isaac Wilkins landed in the runner-up spot in the second flight with a figure of 5:37.44

SCH, GFS and GA were all represented in the lightweight double event. In flight one, Malvern Prep produced the top overall time of 5:37.01, with the Blue Devils (Hudson Smith [stroke], Damian Betancourt) coming in second in 5:40.12 and the Tigers (Gabe Sher [stroke], Ethan Shen) third in 5:43.95. Ridgewood (N.J.) High School won the second section in 5:41.62, and the GA Patriot pair of Carter Seggev (stroke) and Decker Wentz placed third in 5:52.41.

Bakari Porter (stroke) and Chris Markos of Springside Chestnut Hill were one spot behind GFS in flight four (6:13.16), while in the third flight, a time of 6:09.15 netted third place for GA’s Sam Trombetta (stroke) and John Taggart.
